This is an easy two boot. This will involve some road walking and crossing the Portway about three times. There is one steep climb half way and a shorter steep climb (500m ascent in total) towards the end of the walk. There are some narrow paths and some sections of the walk will be retraced on the return journey.
We will walk along the road to Bishop's Knoll, from there we will walk to Sneyd Park and the Duck Pond (please research in advance about the best food for ducks). From there we will walk through the nature reserve and cross the Portway to walk along the Avon to Shirehampton and then Coombe Dingle, walking by the River Trym. We will then walk from there to Great Kings Western and hopefully a cafe opportunity. We will make our way back to the River Avon by walking along a right of way through the Shirehampton Golf Course, via Phippers Park Underbridge. We will then make most of our way back via the River Avon. Finally we will cross the Portway a last time to rejoin Bishops Knoll via a different path and Prinkards Underbridge and then head back to the finish and cafe.
