12 (953 ft of ascent) Mile Walk from Milton Station in Weston Super Mare to Sandpoint and back via Weston Woods. Route will be a mixture of pavements, quiet roads, wooded footpaths, coastal footpaths including some rocky sections. Some paths are likely to be muddy with one steep climb, so I would suggest you wear boots or footwear with good grip.
Option for people to meet at the Water Tower in Clifton for lifts at 9am or a train leaves Bristol Temple Meads at 9.15 and arrives at Milton station at 9.45. Or the X1 bus leaves Bristol Bus station at 8.45 then alight at the Milton Southwest Skills campus at 9.43 and head to the station around the corner.
I will meet you by Milton Station around 9.45
If you've not been on one of my walks before, pace will be moderate (approx. 3 mph on the flat) so if you walk slowly, I suggest you give this a miss. Regular walkers will be fine.
