This walk is in the past.
A circular Somerset walk taking in Wookey Hole, Ebbor Gorge, the village of Priddy, and the surrounding Mendip Hills. Goes through quiet country lanes and pasture. There is a steep decent through Ebbor Gorge. This walk can be reached by bus or car.
Public toilets at start and near end at Wookey Hole. Route may be muddy if it's been raining so walking boots recommended. Dogs welcome but we will be passing cattle so they must be extremely well behaved and on leads the entire time.
Bus 376 Mendip Explorer departs Bristol bus station at 8:50. Arrives at Wells bus station 10:08. The bus also stops at Temple Meads and Wells Rd. Walk leader will be taking the bus there.
