This walk is in the past.
A reasonably challenging linear walk covering a section of the Offas Dyke Path. Starting at a Castle Near Abergavenney and finishing in Llanthony, we will be awarded with magnificent views (weather permitting) of the Black Mountains, Bannau Brychieniog and Herefordshire. Est total of 700 meters Ascent. Will aim for an average pace of 3.2 to 4 kilometres p/hr (2 to 2.5 miles per hour). Please ensure you have suitable and comfortable Hiking Boots.
As the day will require organisation of transport at the Start and End Points of the walk, please let me know if you're joining us and whether or not you can provide lifts to others.
Bring packed lunch. Pub to finish.
