08:15 1 Boot Bath Skyline New Members Walk (20s & 30s Walk)
Event Date: Sun 7 July 2019
Event Time: 08:15
This walk is in the past.
See some brilliant views of Bath from its surrounding hills on this classic skyline walk. Due to difficulty of parking, we'll be going by bus from Temple Meads (unfortunately no trains are running on this Sunday) and we'll start the walk from Bath Spa station. Finishing with a pub roast at Green Park Brasserie in Bath (10 mins walk from the station)
This has been published as a new members walk because it is a sociable, local walk making it a fun and easy opportunity to check out the group and find out more about us. It is however, open to ALL members both new and established.
If sharing lifts passengers are expected to contribute towards petrol costs. Please bring coins or be prepared to make a bank transfer.
As a guide, 30p/mile shared by everyone in the car.
Alternative meeting point: 09:15 at
Bath Spa Station
Please contact the walk leader if you will be meeting them there.
Unless stated on the walk page, there is no need to sign up to join a walk. You’re very welcome to try out 1 or 2 walks before you join, but we do insist that after that you join the Brunel Walking Group.
On many walks you can just turn up at the meeting point where we will share lifts to the start of the walk. It’s OK if you don’t drive – we normally have enough drivers who are able to give lifts. Some walks you will need to make your way to walk start or you can post on our facebook group to ask if you can share a lift there.

How do I know what to bring? And am I fit enough?
We provide a full recommended kit list here. Please do bring water, a rainproof jacket, walking trousers (or similar) and walking shoes/boots – avoid jeans and trainers.
Brunel Walking Group is for young(ish) people in the Bristol and Bath area who love the countryside and like to get outside on a weekend. All of our walk leaders and committee members are volunteers, dedicated to sharing our fantastic countryside with others. Read more on our FAQs page
