This walk is in the past.
This is the third of 8 walks covering the iconic Beacons Way. This time we'll be making our way from Crickhowell to Llangynidr, skirting the edge of Pen Cerrig-calch and Pen Gloch-y-Pibwr towards Cwmdu, before climbing up to Cefn Moel with stunning views over Llangorse Lake, and descending southwards into the village of Llangynidr.
Spaces will be limited to 30 people (due to the linear nature of the walk and the need to car share), so please do contact me and I'll add you to the list.
We'll be departing from the Water Tower in Clifton at 8am. This is slightly less demanding than the previous two sections, but will still be a fairly long day, so pack plenty of water, food and snacks, your waterproofs and suitable clothing for the weather conditions as it can get pretty exposed up on the ridges. However, it's well worth the effort for the stunning views, which this time are not all from on high! Pub in Llangynidr to finish.
