Starting in Bradford on Avon we will head over hills towards Freshford, taking in Friary Wood. In Freshford we will follow the hillside round to Limpley Stoke where will enter woods to walk over to Monkton Combe. After which we will head over to Dundas Aquaduct where there will be a steep climb through Conkwell Woods, but when we are at the top it will be flat or downhill back to Bradford on Avon. In Bradford on Avon we will follow a zig zag route to a viewpoint before heading back to the carpark.
There are 4 hills and a few other short climbs here and there and may be muddy in places.
Please note the walk leader will not be at the meeting point in Bristol. Please text the walk leader when you leave St Mary Redcliffe and let him know how many cars are coming.

Directions are as follows:
From St Mary Redcliffe car park:
Turn Left and head towards Temple Meads
At Temple Gate roundabouts follow signs for A4, Bath
Follow the A4 out of Bristol and along the dual carriageway around Keynsham
Follow the A4 through Saltford after a mile there is a roundabout next to a pub called the Globe take the 2nd exit signposted Combe Down.
Follow this road up and down hills and into Combe Down. Eventually you will get to a small roundabout. Take the first exit, go straight on through the next set of lights and straight over the next roundabout.
Keep going straight on past Sainsburys and straight on at the next double mini roundabout (follow sign for University). Go straight for about 3 miles. After a long straight length of road there will be a mini roundabout with a right turn. Turn right down a hill (known as Brassknocker hill) and down to a set of traffic lights at the bottom.
Turn right followed be a left at the traffic lights and follow (the B3108) the signs to Bradford on Avon. In Bradford on Avon turn right and follow signs to the train station at the bottom of the hill. I will meet you in the carpark.
