See in the start of 2022 in traditional Brunel style - that is by standing on a windy hill and hoping for good weather!!
This walk will start in Saltford and cross the fields before climbing Kelston Hill in time for midnight. It is a shortened version of this year's award winning "Best Walk of 2021". (It could, therefore, also win the 2022 award given the second part of it will occur next year. Just an idea voters.....)
If the weather is clear, we should be able to see fireworks in both Bristol and Bath. Please wrap up warm and bring sparklers, a hot toddy or anything else needed for a NYE celebration.
(The Kelston cheese farm shop will not be open at this time of day, alas, so if you require food, please bring something to eat too.)
Head torch necessary and good walking boots strongly advised.
The walk leader will meet you in Salford, but if anyone would like to organise car shares from Bristol and/or Bath, I am sure it would be appreciated by non-drivers.
