This walk is in the past.
This is an enjoyable walk along parts of the Offa’s Dyke border path, with some great views of Tintern Abbey and the Wye Valley River. There will be a few inclines up to Devil’s pulpit. We will stop half way for lunch (bring packed lunch) and finish at the Anchor Inn for a drink.
Please bring hiking boots, warm clothes and full waterproofs. The paths can be muddy and slippery this time of year.
The walk leaders will be travelling direct to the start point and will not be at the Watertower, so please contact the walk leaders if you are willing to organise car shares from the Watertower. For those not travelling direct, meet at the watertower at 10.00, to then drive to Wireworks Car Park, Tintern NP16 6TQ for a walk start time of 11.00.
Bring packed lunch. Pub to finish.
