This walk is in the past.
Due to advice from the ramblers we have had to suspend all group led walks until the 31st of May
Please check https://www.ramblers.org.uk/volunteer-zone/coronavirus.aspx for more details
This walk was originally scheduled for the 16th of February, it has now moved to 22nd of March due to storm Dennis
Two classic National Trust walks around Stourhead, joined up as one, that can be enjoyed as a two boot (approximately 13 miles) or as a shorter 5 mile walk up Whitesheet Hill. This would then allow, those that wish to, the opportunity to pay to go into the gardens and enjoy tea and cake at the visitor centre. Those on the two boot (if we have a good pace) will have the chance to walk to and go up King Alfreds Tower with amazing views. A great walk with lots of historic features and fine views. Expect mud!!
Parking is available at the main pay and display car park. Free for National Trust Members who scan their card at the machine.
The walk leader will meet the group in Stourton. Other members of the group will organise car shares from St Mary Redcliffe.
