For those not going on the Snowdonia weekend away, a bank holiday Monday walk.
To the north of the popular resort of Weston-super-Mare the lovely Weston Woods clothe the slopes of Worlebury Hill and give occasional fine views along the length of Sand Bay and across the Bristol Channel to the coast of South Wales. A large proportion of this walk is through these woods, with a brief foray into Weston-super-Mare. The latter part of the route takes you down the medieval Monk's Steps and across fields, with a final section along the shores of Sand Bay.
Please note the walk leader does not have a car, so if convenient please come to the meet up if you are able to give lifts.
Bring packed lunch. Cafe to finish.
