If you are getting a lift remember your mask and something warm as the car windows will be open.
A walk with steep climbs -you will be rewarded with beautiful views- a good 2 boot but definitely Not for the feint hearted if you don't like hills!- If you like them on the other hand you will enjoy this walk.
We'll wind up a steep hill to views over Chew Magna and out towards the Welsh Hills. Moving on we will crack on through the green ( and muddy) fields of North Somerset. We'll cross foot bridges , muddy tracks ( Did I mention the mud?), through kissing gates and Bristol gates and over undulating pastures. Did I mention the hills?)
We'll stop for a picnic lunch and then head back down dale to Camely and a lovely 13th Century church and back up to Hinton Bluett and Prospect Stile with yet another splendid view. Another mud track and kissing gate will lead us across a muddy field to another view, then plunge down on a steep descent back down towards the farm.
By this stage you should be able to smell the scones waiting for us and a well-deserved cream tea .
