This walk is in the past.
This is a mainly rural walk with a number of interesting historical features along the way. From Bathford we ascend to Browne's Folly, a legacy of Bath stone mining and providing some extensive views. On to Monkton Farleigh centred around the remains of a 13th century priory. From here to South Wraxall and then to Box. From Box we follow the river back to Bathford, pausing to see the remains of the Monkton Farleigh ammunition tunnel.
