This walk is in the past.
Starting along the River Frome near Fishponds, we will follow the river until we branch off in to stoke park, we will then walk around some of the lovely woodlands of the area before heading to the (weather permitting) stunning views of Purdown. From here we will wind our way down to eastville park before heading back through park and roads back to the start point.
A few hills on this walk, but we can take them slow if need be. No lunch stop but we will have a few snack stops along the way.
The start point is only 10 minutes walk from the bus stop for the 48/49 for anyone wanting to come by public transport. Parking available at the start.
Please bring mask, gloves (or something to touch gates and stiles with), and hand sanitizer
Unfortunately due to covid we have had to put a cap on the amount of people we can have on each walk, and that walk is now at capacity with several in reserve. Please keep checking the website to see if any more walks you would like to come on are run.
Hopefully we will see you on one of our walks in the future.
