This walk is in the past.
A 2+ boot walk from Weston, Bath.
This walk will involve the Cotswold way, passing through Kelston, Bath Racecourse, Lansdown and some small villages.
There are some fields with a high risk of cows.
It is quite a lengthy walk, with elevation. Please come with plenty of water, snacks and packed lunch. There is a nice pub at the end. If the weather looks hot, please bring sun protection. Please also bring suitable walking footwear and a sit mat or something to sit on when we stop for lunch / snacks.
The walk will start in Weston. Parking along Weston Park Road is free all day Sunday. Please park where there is space, then the 9am meet point will be at the end of the road outside the Old Crown Pub. Please contact me on the morning if you have issues.
There will be a meet point at Clifton Water tower 8:15am. I will not be there. Please message me if you are able to give lifts to ensure there is sufficient transport & if someone could volunteer to manage the car share at Clifton that would be appreciated.
Bring packed lunch. Pub to finish.
