This walk is in the past.
New Members Walk, potential and existing members all welcome, just turn up! We walk alongside the River Boyd through attractive countryside between Wick and Bitton, using field paths and lanes, before climbing to Cullyhall Farm for views across the Boyd valley and over Bristol. We then drop down to the Avon Valley Railway Station to eat our packed lunches and buy coffee at the buffet. The Railway Path takes us to Bitton and its many listed buildings, including C17th The Grange. A climb up Bitton Hill gives further views, before we cross to Redfield Hill and one last climb to return to Wick. Average fitness required. Several horse paddocks, so no dogs.
Bring packed lunch.
