An easy-paced walk through picturesque Cotswold countryside from the lovely town of Painswick, taking in field paths, lanes and woods. Includes the Frith Wood nature reserve, a wonderful ancient beech wood that straddles the ridge overlooking the Painswick and Slad valleys. A few short climbs. Views over Laurie Lee’s Slad and over the confluence of the four valleys at Stroud. We finish at the tea shop at the Rococo Gardens.
Bring a packed lunch. After the walk we’ll go to a tea shop.
